RCT News Update!
We are now part of the Community Foundation! We are their FIRST Children's Theatre and we now can accept tax-deductible contributions. The purpose of having a Foundation is so that our plays - and our kids -- can do some traveling. We love performing in North Central Massachusetts, but we'd love to bring a show to your community. Having a foundation will help us offset the costs. The other purpose of our foundation is to provide supplemental support for educational purposes. We envisioned sometime down the road having scholarship money available for kids pursueing a career in theater arts (including teaching and performance).

FITCHBURG --  Riverfront Children's Theatre  presents and original music-theatre production: "The Four Jacks," about storybook characters named "Jack" (Jack and the Beanstalk, Jack and Jill, Jack Be Nimble and Jack in the Box). The production will be presented on Saturday, June 16 at 2 and 4 pm at 454 Main St., Fitchburg. Tickets:  "Pay What You Can" ($3 suggested, FREE for kids 0-5). "This show is based on a play my mother, Janet Cragin did at Applewild School some years ago," explains RCT producer Sally Cragin. "We have added some parts to some familiar stories. Of course there's a Giant, and there's also a problem with the ground water. It takes a village to fix a village, even if there are magical beans. Here's a story about all those Jacks, one Jill, and plenty of other family members. And, four little mice who are cousins."

The cast includes: Kira Casey, Morgyn Casey, Shelby Goss, Violet Gunsalus, Neve Pires, Christopher Cragin Warner.  Jet Cragin Warner, Ina McNamara, Natasha Siler-Huber,  Denise Seminoff, Ixchel Thibault-Munoz, Azucena Thibault-Munoz, Jeff Van Amburgh, Laylah Washington, Abby Waterhouse, Emma Waterhouse with help from Elise Pierce, Russell Holbert, Alicia Giannetti and Elizabeth Worthley.

"We are also collaborating with Chaibo Tea and Coffeehouse for "Lunch and a matinee." For tickets only, call: 978-320-1335 or sallycragin@verizon.net. For "lunch and a matinee" at Chaibo, call 978-829-0088. www.riverfrontkids.blogspot.com--summer classes too!
